The second illustration, again with a comic-book feel, and again with lots of movement. This one by Alicia Vogel. I like Kata here: she’s got the right look to her, and the immensity of the minotaur is great too. Of course, there’s no exact scene in the novel which this corresponds to: it’s more likely to approximate scenes in the second novel. But again, lovely work. Did I mention I wanted to buy these?
